Lee Olsen, General Manager of Waldo’s at the Driftwood, and one of the ten star dancers in this season’s 7th Annual Dancing with Vero’s Stars, has compiled a personal photo collection and created “The Sun Always Rises Over Waldo’s” calendar to raise money for the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition.
“I am fortunate to run a business that faces the sunrise and what a lovely way to begin each day,” states Olsen. “One day I grabbed my camera and began taking sunrise photos. I shared them with my Facebook friends, and by popular demand, decided to arrange them in calendar format. Raising money for The Healthy Start Coalition is my drive this season. Along with my instructor Shari Tessier of the 14th Avenue Dance Studio, I am one of the dancers competing for this year’s mirror ball.”
Tickets for Dancing with Vero’s Stars, to be held at Riverside Theatre on Saturday evening May 9, 2015, are sold out, but if any tickets do become available, people may call 563-9118 to be placed on a waiting list. Donations for your favorite dancer or purchasing sponsorships for your favorite dancer are available by visiting www.DancingwithVerostars.com.
