Alla Kramer, one of the ten star dancers in this season’s 9th Annual Dancing with Vero’s Stars, is a busy woman….newly inducted as the incoming President of Republican Women Indian River.
Republican Women of Indian River is one of the oldest Republican clubs in Florida, founded in 1950. It’s the largest club in IRC with over 250 members and are very active in the community. For the past seven years, the group has sponsored the flags that have been flown on both bridges for patriotic holidays. They have been recognized by City Council for saving taxpayers money, and they award an annual scholarship to two high school seniors. Their fundraiser for the Indian River Charter High school choir to perform at Carnegie Hall was a huge success. The organization also sends care package to our soldiers, organizes a yearly party for seniors at St. Francis Manor and at Christmas, and they collect toys and books for Little Soldier Tree to benefit Operation Homefront at Ft. Campbell, KY.
Dancing with Vero’s Stars will be held at Riverside Theatre on Saturday evening May 13, 2017.
