The Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition is proud to announce that a special event will be held to celebrate their 10 years of Dancing with Vero’s Stars. A Decade of Dancing will be held on Friday, April 20 at the new Indian River County Intergenerational (IG) Center, located at 1590 9th Street SW (Oslo Road) in Vero Beach from 5:30 to 8 pm.
The community-at- large is invited to attend this admission free event, along with the Dancing with Vero’s Stars alumni (2009-2017), the 2018 Star Dancers with their professional Instructors, and Dancing with Vero’s Stars sponsors. The event sponsor is Southern Social, 14th Avenue in historic downtown Vero Beach.
The evening will kick-off with the 2018 star dancers and their instructors entering the event through the Star Walk (sponsored by George E. Warren Corp.). Those who have attended Dancing with Vero’s Stars in the past will recall enjoying its standout Silent Auction, showcasing a myriad of tables filled with desirable items collected by the star dancers. Instead, the gigantic Silent Auction will be the centerpiece of this year’s Decade of Dancing offering even more exclusive items and more time to bid on them throughout the evening. Bidding will be done with the ease of a mobile bidding system. Bring your smart phones to the event, and once you check in as a Silent Auction bidder, you will receive a text that will get you ready to bid on your favorite items!
In addition to the Gigantic Silent Auction, attendees will enjoy dancing to music by Swingsation’s Studios, refreshments and a cash bar (sponsored by Florida Power & Light). Sponsorship opportunities are available.
While admission is free, kindly RSVP by calling the Healthy Start Office at 772-563-9118. Attire is business casual.
