Mark your calendars and plan to reserve your sponsorship or purchase tickets early for Dancing with Vero’s Stars, which is slated for Mother’s Day weekend on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach.
In its eleventh year, Dancing with Vero’s Stars net proceeds benefit Indian River Healthy Start Coalition and is a partnership with Riverside Theatre, which provides professional production management for the dancing competition that featured on the Stark Stage in the main auditorium that seats up to 692.
Dancing with Vero’s Stars main event competition is comprised of ten dancing partners featuring a local “Star Dancer” and a professional instructor, who compete for the coveted “Mirror Ball” trophy by performing a professionally choreographed number. Expert judges rank competitors based on 50 percent dancing performance and 50 percent the amount of funds raised to support Healthy Start’s mission to support every mother, every family and every baby in Indian River County.
Dancing duets for Dancing with Vero’s Stars will be announced at a “Meet and Greet” event at Riverside Theatre on November 4 and posted to dancingwithverostars.com following that event.
Each Star Dancer will be raising funds through sponsorships, silent auction and ticket sales from November through May 11, toward their fundraising goal that supports education and care to promote the health of moms, babies and their families in Indian River County. Sponsorships will be available following the November 4th event by contacting a Star Dancer.
Those wishing to be part of the glitz and glamor of Dancing with Vero’s Stars may purchase early tickets beginning January 14, by contacting one of the star dancers and after February 4, through Riverside Theatre Box Office. Tickets range from $125 to $225 and include a Hollywood-style red carpet pre-event soiree and the dancing competition. This event is an early sell-out so interested parties are encouraged to visit dancingwithverostars.com or to connect with a Star and purchase early tickets.
