On Saturday, May 11th, guests will enter Riverside Theatre for the 11th Annual Dancing with Vero’s Stars. This year’s event will showcase a multitude of fresh faces, along with some DWVS veterans in both the dancing pairs, and the judging panel.

The four-person judging panel will determine the dance scores of the night, and they will bring an exciting mixture of entertainment, experience, and commentary. This year, two familiar faces will be sitting at the judges panel, along with a new judge to bring in a fresh take.

With excitement, a warm welcome goes to the highly qualified dancer Brad Stein, who has appeared on the television show that inspired this event, Dancing with the Stars. He has a lifetime of dance training and experience, and he continues to share his joy of dance as a teacher, coach and National Dance Council of America and World Dance Council certified Judge.

Returning to the judge’s panel for his fourth year is Vero Beach native Chris Foster who went on to achieve greatness in the world of entertainment that includes performing on cruise lines, featured roles in metropolitan and global productions, modeling in television commercial and billboard advertisements and choreographing world tours for celebrity artists.

Finishing up the trio of Judges is the fifth year return of well-known, Vero Beach High School award-winning drama teacher of 31 years, well-seasoned actress, choreographer, director, and mentor to many hopeful thespians, “Miss” Dee Rose Imbro! Dee has professionally performed, choreographed and directed while impressing upon her students to give it their all.

The fourth chair at the Judge’s dais is local CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner, Christine Horrocks of Rehmann, who will for the first time be present to oversee and authorize the voting tabulations. With over 20 years of accounting experience, Christine manages audit engagements and forensic accounting assignments.  She has been a long-time supporter of local non-profit organizations, and is currently affiliated with United Against Poverty, serving on the board of directors and finance committee of that organization.

This year’s dancers and their instructors are Bela Nagy with Yvonne Miller, Christine Walker with Joe Wynes, Curtis Carpenter with Karren Walter, Dr. Deni Malave-Huertas with Amy Trammell, Hollie Billero Buldo with Brian Spector, Kelly Donovan with Robert Scott, Mark Sartain with Mary Margaret Hatch, Martha Redner with Dr. Glenn Tremml, Pamela DeChellis with Nicholas Dimitrov, and Robert Rivas with Marianella Tobar.
