Robby Rivas considers himself as an absolute waterman…whatever it takes to ride the wave! Robby can be found on the beach as often as possible, whether he is swimming, surfing, skimming, bodysurfing, or just enjoying the scenery….plus..
for many years, he has also been a part time lifeguard for Johns Island as well as for the City of Vero Beach. When he’s in dry dock, Robby is an Engineer and Fire Medic…responding to all structure fires, wild life fires, motor vehicle and medical emergencies for the Indian River County Fire Rescue. A life-long resident of Vero Beach, Robby is a graduate of Vero Beach High School where he had a short stint on their stage while acting in the play “Oklahoma.”
As a public servant, Vero Beach means everything to Robby and feels this is what he is meant to be doing. Robby is the very first Fireman and Lifeguard to be a star dancer and by the looks of things, dancing may be what he has been meant to do too! He’s in the competition to help the Healthy Start Coalition. Because helping is what Robby Rivas does!
